1. What Data We Collect
We collect the minimum data necessary to operate the site and leaderboard:
- Leaderboard submissions: When you voluntarily submit a score to the leaderboard, we collect your chosen nickname, country, score, time, move count, and other game metrics (restarts, hints, undos). You choose what nickname to use — we recommend not using your real name.
- Contact form: If you contact us, we collect the name, email address, and message content you provide.
- Server logs: Like all web servers, our server automatically logs requests including IP address, browser type, and pages visited. These logs are used for security and troubleshooting and are not sold or shared.
2. What We Do NOT Collect
- We do not collect your personal stats (games played, wins, best score, best time). These are stored only in your browser's local storage, on your device, and never sent to us.
- We do not use tracking pixels or user fingerprinting.
- We do not build advertising profiles.
- We do not require accounts or registration.
3. Cookies and Local Storage
This site uses browser local storage to save your personal game statistics on your own device. This data never leaves your device. We do not use tracking cookies.
If advertising is served in the future (ad slots are reserved for this purpose), those ad providers may use cookies per their own privacy policies. We will update this policy if and when that occurs.
4. How We Use Your Data
- Leaderboard submissions are displayed publicly on the leaderboard pages.
- Contact form submissions are used to respond to your inquiry and are not shared with third parties.
- Server logs are used internally for security and troubleshooting only.
5. Data Sharing
We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with third parties for marketing purposes. Leaderboard data (nickname, country, score) is publicly displayed by design when you choose to submit a score.
6. Data Retention
Leaderboard data is retained for 90 days, after which historical leaderboard entries are removed from public display. Contact form submissions are retained for a reasonable period to allow us to respond to your inquiry, then deleted.
7. Your Rights
You have the right to request removal of your leaderboard submission or contact form data. To request this, contact us with the details (e.g., your nickname and the approximate date submitted).
8. Children's Privacy
This site is a general-audience card game site. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has submitted personal data, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.
9. Changes to This Policy
We may update this privacy policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision. Continued use of the site after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
